Today is explicitly a polishing-and-publishing day, not a from-scratch building day — you arrive with real work in hand from HW7 and leave with it public. You’ll troubleshoot whatever’s still broken in your pipeline, finalize your apaquarto Methods/Results report with computed rather than typed numbers, push everything to your GitHub repo, and publish it as a GitHub Release archived to Zenodo for a DOI — turning a semester of work into a citable, public artifact.

What you’ll be able to do

  1. Diagnose and fix gaps or errors in your own HW7 pipeline (pilot data, wrangling, analysis, or report), using troubleshooting resources built across the semester.
  2. Finalize an apaquarto mini Methods/Results report describing your novel task and its pilot result, with numbers computed via inline code rather than typed by hand.
  3. Push a complete project (task, data, analysis, report) to your GitHub repo and publish it via a GitHub Release, archived to Zenodo for a DOI.
  4. Articulate why public, reproducible artifacts matter for open science, and identify one thing you can do now that you couldn’t do in Class 1.
